Are your dogs off leash? Do you trust them to stay near and to come when called?

I do indeed let my dogs off leash - in select places. They stay relatively near but do have the occasional roam and chase, so I only let them off where the area is safe or large enough to allow them to do so.
They do come when called, and I insist that they come back and "check in" with me if they have had a run further afield.
